IMMIGRANT SURVIVORS OF PARTNER VIOLENCE

Formed in 2001 with key partners YWCA Greater Cincinnati, Women Helping Women, and Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati, Immigrant Survivors of Partner Violence (formally known as the Alliance for Immigrant Women) is a collaboration of over 20 partner agencies in the greater Cincinnati that work together to better serve immigrant families who are victims and survivors of domestic violence.  Our work is funded through the Office of Criminal Justice Services and the Department of Justice Office of Violence Against Women.  We provide regular training throughout the region on best practices for serving immigrant and refugee victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.  We also distribute multilingual materials that promote safety to service agencies and neighborhood locations with concentrated immigrant populations, and provide case consultations and comprehensive victim advocacy services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.  For more information, visit: http://www.ywcacincinnati.org/site/c.biINIZNKKjK0F/b.9357433/k.76B/Immigrant_Survivors_of_Partner_Violence.htm
